All You Need To Know About Aptamil Stage 3 Milk

Infant formula is suitable from birth when babies are not breastfed. The most rapid stage of development for a toddler is between the ages of 1 and 3.

A toddler's first birthday is an incredible milestone because it marks the start of many firsts. From first words to first steps, the toddler is growing fast, thereby making their nutritional needs change too. And note that your toddler will be needing about 4.5 times the amount of iron as an adult male and enough calcium and vitamin D for normal growth and bones development.

Aptamil stage 3 milk is nutritionally fitted to your toddler's stage of development. It is made of whole milk that contains nutrients needed by toddlers between the ages of 1 and 2 and it is to be used to complete a varied, balanced diet. The Iron in milk helps support normal cognitive development and the Vitamin D is needed for normal bone development. It also has a unique blend of Galacto- and Fructo-oligosaccharides, has low sodium and is gluten free.

Servings:

A toddler will need about 2 beakers of 150ml of milk a day, as part of a balanced diet. Aptamil is particularly formulated to help in meeting the increased nutritional needs of toddlers between year 1 and 3.

To open the pack, remove tamper evidence strip on the rim. You will find a handy leveller built into the pack. Your scoop should be stored in the lid so that it is kept safe and secure. To keep your powder fresh, click the lid securely shut and due to the fact that powdered milks are not sterile, it may make your toddler ill if the instructions are not carefully followed. 150ml of 5fl. oz boiled, cooled water should be measured into a clean beaker. Use the scoop provided to add 5 levelled scoops of powder into the beaker. Make sure you mix well for about 10 seconds so as to dissolve powder. Replace the lid on beaker, check temperature and drink immediately.

For hygiene reason, each drink should be made when it is required and not stored up for later use. Unfinished drinks should be discarded as soon as possible and this should always be within 2 hours. Also, do not heat drinks in a microwave as hot spots may occur which may lead to scalding. Supervise your toddler at all times when feeding and avoid frequent or prolonged contact of drinks with your toddler's teeth because it increases the risk of tooth decay.

Storage

Aptamil stage 3 milk should be stored in a cool dry place. Do not refrigerate and make sure the powder is used within 4 weeks of opening.
